be who you are, teach what you love
The Yoga is Us 200-Hour Teacher Training was created to disrupt the yoga industry and create a home for yoga outside of the boutique fitness scene. In response to the widespread lack of access and representation in the western world of wellness, we designed a scholarship-funded, trauma-informed, and justice-inspired training to challenge our notions of what yoga is and who it is for. The curriculum is place-based and timely, with a training team as diverse as the people we reach.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Our 200-hr, Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training is an intergenerational and interdisciplinary journey from yoga’s roots to modern day. tiered tuition, registration + scholarship structure
One of the primary gaps we are working to fill is that of access and representation. For that reason, we’re offering full scholarships to students and recent graduates at our partner schools and partial scholarships for BIPOC community members in need of financial assistance. Our goal is to diversify our teaching community while removing the financial barrier to access.
Interested students must fill out an application before registering for this course. Once you submit your application, we will schedule a brief phone interview to discuss further details.
Once accepted, you will receive a confirmation letter and link to pay what you can.
Tiered Tuition:
Community Rate: $3000
CCSD Staff, Teacher + BIPOC Rate: $1500
Students + Young Adult Graduates of Partner Schools: $0 - Fully Funded
*Full and partial-scholarships available to qualifying community members

“To sit in the midst of opposition creates the heat necessary for change, and helps us engage with the energy of the moment rather than with our storytelling.”
